Waiheke is split up into 6-8 key suburbs/locations Oneroa, Surfdale, Ostend, Palm Beach, Rocky Bay, Onetangi and Orapiu “Bottom End”.

Waiheke has a range of small to medium carparks, but most car parking on the island is roadside. This is how locals park when off-street parking is not available.

Calais Terrace is a narrow residential road located in Ostend. Entered via Ostend Road or Natzka Road. Many homes have views of Anzac Bay.

Natzka Road is a peaceful residential street located in Ostend, It has a coastal drive that loops around Anzac Bay and is home to the Waiheke retirement village.

Whakarite Road is a moderately busy long stretch of road located in Ostend. It has a few side streets and links on to a dead end gravel road.

Muritai Road is a short gravel dead end road located in Ostend. It is walking distance from Ostend Village shops with a small walking track to Whakarite Road.

Waitai Road is a short cut road from Wharf Road to Whakarite Road. Its a industrial/residential road located in Ostend. A few businesses are based on this road.

Gulf place is a short dead end road located in Oneroa. Located on the road are residential homes and some farm properties. Some road side parking is available on grass berms.

Causeway Road is a mangrove/ocean stretch of road located in the suburb of Ostend. This road leads you from Surfdale to Ostend. Causeway Road is around 1200m long.

Wharf Road is a scenic/mangrove stretch located in the suburb of Ostend. This road can lead to Wharf Road boat ramp, Belgium Street/Onetangi and Palm Beach.

Belgium Street is the main street to Ostend Village shops. Located here are a variety of businesses and Waiheke’s Woolworths supermarket.
