Overview

Te Toki Reserve is a large open grass field located in Ostend. The reserve has many different paths you can walk, run, explore, walk the dog or even have a picnic. The full loop would be over 1km, allowing for a descent sized outing. The loop has views of Ostend and is home to some largest Pohutukawa trees on Waiheke.

The reserve is the perfect destination for dog owners, the park is a dog-friendly oasis featuring an expansive off-leash area, allowing your pup to socialize and run freely.

There are two main tracks, through the meadows and around the perimeter of the reserve through bush with older, interesting native trees.

There is a small track exiting onto Te Toki Road amongst a community fruit garden backed onto the wetlands. This small track is covered by bushland, it can be slippery after a heavy rain storm or wet months.

An additional hidden track is located off Wilma Road, there are a few steps leading down to a small stream.
