Obee’s – Oceans Best
Obee’s also known as Oceans best, says it all! is a new food cart located in Oneroa in a chrome cart, they offer all day breakfasts, lunches, cocktails and more.
Oneroa
Oneroa is what you would call the capital of waiheke, with the highest density of shops, over any other main region of waiheke. In Oneroa you will find clothing, food, doctors, cafes, police and much more.
Oneroa beach is only about 200 metres from the main township. There is a few walkways that lead down to the beach.
Mama’s kitchen Vietnamese
Mama’s kitchen Vietnamese Food is brand new cafe/food cart on Waiheke with a range of Vietnamese Food options. They are located just down from Pop Scooter Hire.

V-Phix Mobiles are your standard phone repair place, we visited them to get a quote to give some in real life prices. They will do a phone screen repair for about $100-300.
Sandy Bay Rock Fishing
Sandy Bay has plenty of rocks to fish off, like many beaches around waiheke. The rocks at sandy bay are easy to get to plus parking and toilets are close by.
Te Miro Bay Beach
Te Miro Bay is a little secluded beach sheltered by Pohutukawa trees that is only accessed via foot, it is located below the Matiatia Headland Path.
Te Miro Bay Fishing Spot
Te Miro Bay is me and my husbands go to fishing spot, you can fish and also watch the ferries return or leave Matiatia Bay or get spectacular views of Rangitoto island.
Fisherman’s Rock
Fisherman’s Rock is a well known spot on Waiheke for fishing, it is a rocky terrain that has a small path and many steps leading down to it from Newton road Oneroa.
Matiatia Main Carpark
Matiatia Main Carpark is the biggest carpark On Waiheke Island, it has places for 15min free parking, drop off only zones and lots of disability parking.
Skeleton Bay
Skeleton Bay is located on the northside of Waiheke. It is a little bay between Sandy Bay and Hekerua Bay, it can only be accessed via boat or walking across the rocks.
Oneroa Main Carpark
Oneroa Main Carpark or Oneroa Back Carpark is what most locals call it as it is located behind the main road shops. The Carpark is split up into two main carparks.
The Forge Gym
The Forge is a shipping container style outdoor gym/fitness centre located in Oneroa. They offer a range of fitness classes, personal training and open gym sessions.
