Obee’s

Overview

Obee’s also known as “Oceans Best”. Is a restaurant/cafe located in Oneroa. They serve fresh seafood such as crayfish and mussels. They also have a food truck for easy to grab meals.

In July 2025, they rebranded from Nomads to Obee’s.

Obee’s is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, brunch or lunch with friends and family. The menu features a variety of dishes made with fresh, local ingredients, including seafood, meat, and vegetarian/vegan options.

Obee’s also has a full bar, so you can enjoy a drink while you take in the beautiful views of Oneroa.

If your just wanting to have a quick bite to eat. They also have a chrome food truck outside with seating serving burgers, mussels fritters and fish and chips.

Wai Kitchen

Wai kitchen is a café/restaurant located in the middle of Oneroa Village, their menu consists of delicious breakfasts and lunches with their own edible floral style.

Bisou Cafe

Bisou Cafe brings a taste of Europe to Waiheke Island, serving up savoury and sweet crepes, freshly baked baguettes and pastries alongside Eighthirty coffee and fresh juices.

Surfdale Bakery

This bakery sells an assortment of hot/cold easy to go meals such as pies, sausage rolls, hotdogs, cordon bleus, sandwiches, fruit salads and sweet foods.

The Ocean View

The Ocean View is a cafe/Restaurant in the middle of Oneroa, they serve a range of fresh breakfasts, lunches and Dinner. With a full range of Spirits.

2025 Update

Went up to Nomads to see what was going on, would be 99.9% sure they are just rebranding to Obee’s, all the signage and menu has changed. They might still offer things off the nomads menu but I am not sure. We will have lunch up there in the next few weeks to get all the information.

Obee’s is now open for dinners on Fridays and Saturdays till 9pm. (This might just be a summer thing but will keep an eye on it.)

Also the streetside food truck is also available for pickups.

2026 Update

Obee’s has moved in to Shambhala and the Paora Gallery building which closed in 2025. They are renovating and working towards opening Obee’s gelato and pizzeria by joining up with La Dolce Vita.
