Enclosure Bay is semi hidden gem bay made of rock formations that almost entirely enclose the bay from the sea. This creates a natural, shallow swimming pool.
It is one of the best spots on the island for safe snorkelling, sea scootering and teaching young ones to swim with out waves crashing over them.
The bay can also be popular for learning to scuba dive due to its small channel path leading out to the deep waters. Fishing off the rocks is also a popular activity.
Parking is beach side so it is easily accessible, it can be popular in warmer months so parking can be slim.
If your lucky there have also been regular sitings of Orca’s (killer whales) around the edges of Enclosure Bay. Usually looking for food or teaching their calves.
