Overview

Te Huruhi Primary School was officially opened in 1986, it is a school for students from Year 1 to Year 6. Located on Donald Bruce Road, looking out at waihekes beautiful Huruhi Bay.

The school has large playgrounds, a solar heated swimming pool, and an all purpose hall within attractive landscaped grounds.

Te Huruhi Primary is also a huge part of the Waiheke community by holding many Waiheke events in the school hall, offering the swimming pool to the public during the summer months, and building strong links with Piritahi Marae, Early Childhood Centres, and other schools on the island.

Te Huruhi School has no zoning boundaries and are able to accept enrollments from students living anywhere on the island.

Access Information

The best way to access Te Huruhi Primary School is off Donald Bruce Road.

Their parking lot is in front of the school, if you have a longer vehicle or that carpark is full, you can park on the side of the road. The carpark can be accessed by either direction without problems.

There is a pedestrian crossing right in front of the school, so take care when finding a park.
