Overview

Kayak Waiheke is a kayak and canoe tour agency located at Matiatia Bay. They hire out paddleboards, kayaks, canoes and a few inland activities.

Experience the Matiatia harbour from a sea kayak or stand-up-paddle board (SUP) on the beautiful waters surrounding Waiheke Island. Either by yourself or a guided tour.

Founder of Kayak Waiheke and Waiheke Adventure Centre is Ross. He started his Kayaking business more than 27 years ago after running Kayak adventures in Auckland Devonport and the Hauraki Gulf island of Great Barrier.

Prices start from $40 for either a paddleboard or a kayak.

Prices start from around $100 for a Ebike.

Access Information

The best way to access Kayak Waiheke is off Matiatia beachfront.

The public carpark “Matiatia main carpark” is about 80 Metres from main building. This costs $3.50 for 24 hours.

If you have taken the Fullers Ferry to Waiheke, you can just walk over to Kayak Waiheke, only about 2-3 minutes from the exit of the boat walking.
