Sunshine Valley Nursery

Overview

Sunshine Valley is a local plant nursery that offers everything garden such as varieties of indoor and outdoor plants, garden tools, fertilizers, landscaping equipment, pots and more.

Sunshine Valley Company is a small local business set amidst farm land on our beautiful Waiheke Island. It is a small drive out of Onetangi towards Orapiu but its always worth the trip out, instead of shopping around Sunshine Valley has all you need.

Proud owners are the Philcox’s, when arriving you will be greeted by Kellie and her cute little sidekick Rain. Kellie has extensive knowledge about all her plants and is always happy to guide you in the right direction. Pete is the main man that collects plants from town and any other stock needed to keep the nursery always looking its best. He is also the very talented builder who makes the arches, tables and chairs.

The nursery has upgraded a lot over the past few years, with having a new office to having storage for any products needed to get your landscaping/planting done.

The nursery has wide paths with plenty of room for a wheelbarrow, a sandpit for kids to play in while parents walk around, a bird aviary and plenty of parking.

Access Information

The best way to access Sunshine Valley Company, would be on Orapiu Road, this is located off Waiheke road (Waiheke Road is entered via Onetangi Road) it is a small drive out towards Orapiu follow the windy road until you reach a small one way bridge. Cross the bridge Sunshine is the first driveway after the bridge. There is plenty of signage at the gate and a large carpark.

Wheelchair Access

Yes they have wheelchair access, paths are grass and stone.
