Overview

Island Gas is a local supplier of home and commercial gas bottles, it is based in Oneroa right next to BP, Oneroa Automotive and Tyres on Tui.

The business was previously called Gasman, which has been running and delivering around Waiheke since the early 1990’s. The business sold in 2016 and was renamed to “Island Gas” by Waiheke Locals Paddy and Chris who are also owners of BP Waiheke.

Their service offers a variety of gas bottle sizes filled and delivered from 45kg-9kgs, they also offer new 9kg bottles to replace old ones.

Island Gas makes sure no household or business runs out of gas on Waiheke, with deliveries happening every weekday and emergency refills during weekends. Just make sure you book before 8pm to get your delivery the next day.

They also offer BOC compressed gas upon request.

If you would just like to refill your 9kg LPG bottles you can pop into BP Waiheke and they will help you with that.

Access Information

The best way to access Island Gas is off Tui Street.

They have a small yard next to Tyres On Tui. Additional parking is roadside but parks are almost always taken. Parking can be quite hard to find sometimes of the day.
