Human Strength Co

Overview

Human Strength Co is a small private gym. Designed for those focused on weights and resistance training, or for focusing on their mobility and physical health.

Human Strength is located in Onetangi, in a hidden complex on Totara Road.

Human Strength Co has a self access system to streamline gym use and bookings. Equipment includes dumbbells, kettlebells, cable equipment, and barbell with a squat rack. There are plans for gradual expansion of equipment.(check out their website for more information on booking).

They also offer both ACC and private appointments. They can load ACC claims (so no need for a GP referral) and if needed, organise referral for x-rays, ultrasound scans or specialist appointments. Offering longer appointments, so that they can be thorough in assessment and provide clients with the best quality care possible. 

Proud owner and trainer is Rhys. He has over 10 years of experience at various clinics across Wellington and Hawke’s Bay before recently moving to Waiheke. He completed his masters degree at AUT in 2021, where he developed skills and knowledge to combine physiotherapy and strength and conditioning principles.

Access Information

The best way to access Human Strength Co would be in front of the gym. There are 3 signed customer parks on the left, The parking area is shared with other businesses and at times there might be a few vehicles around peak times, check with them if you have any questions about where to park on the day.

Public Toilet

The nearest public toilet is located down at the beachfront of Onetangi Beach.
