Talking Tree Hill
Talking Tree Hill is an outdoor educational facility based on Waiheke. They offer Nature-based programmes for children 5-12 years such as nature play and learning.
Waiheke has three primary schools Te Huruhi School, Waiheke Primary School and Fossil Bay School. There is one Intermediate/High school Waiheke High School. Students typically progress through the local schools from preschool to Year 13.
Te Huruhi School – Located on Donald Bruce Road, this is a Year 1–6 contributing school.
Waiheke Primary School – A full primary school years 1–8 situated in a valley on Sea View Road.
Fossil Bay School – A smaller, independent Waldorf/Steiner-inspired school that offers a different teaching approach, focusing on holistic development and creative play.
Waiheke High School – As the only secondary provider on the island, it caters to students from years 7-13
