Tukaha Jiu Jitsu

Overview

Tukaha is the home of a Brazilian Jiu jitsu academy, they offer classes for young kids, teenagers, adult gi and no-gi, and women’s only classes.

Established in 2010 by Chris and David under the guidance of 4th-degree black belt Pedro Pacheco Fernandes, it began as just a few friends sharing their own skills of jiu jitsu and now its an academy to teach.

​Tukaha Waiheke provides for all levels of gi and no-gi jiu jitsu. All classes are safe and accessible for newcomers.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (jujitsu or jujutsu) originated in Japan a martial art that uses levers, torsions, and pressure to dominate the opponent.
