Full Heritage Tour – The Full Heritage Tour begins with the Bunker tour, then descends seven stories underground to the #3 Passage, which is 500m long. Along the way, you’ll explore the massive engine room and command and control bunker, learning about target acquisition, communications, and WWII threats to New Zealand. The tour concludes with a walk through first-growth forests back to the visitors centre.

From Matiatia ferry terminal to Stony Batter Tunnels allow 35 minutes drive time.
Follow Ocean View Road, through Ostend Road, Onetangi Road and right onto Waiheke Road. Take a left onto Man O War Bay Road follow the road and turn left onto Stony batter Road.
Wheelchair Access
Very hard as it is a 1km walk on gravel, from memory there was a small farm gate that a wheelchair would not fit though. I would say flag it, unless you have tour access to drive directly to the front.
