Onetangi Community Hall

Overview

The Onetangi Community Hall is located walking distance from Onetangi Beach. It is a hub for community events such as conferences, social groups, band rehearsals, staged performances, birthday parties for children and adults, memorial services, or other activities.

It is also a great venue for weddings or any special event.

Accommodation is available within walking distance at the Onetangi Beach Apartments.

The hall is also close to cafes, restaurants, and vineyards.

Onetangi hall is owned by the Onetangi Residents’ Association, and has been a focal point for community activities  since 1952.

The hall has a capacity of 80 people for most events.

The hall also has a range of tables and chairs to use and a small kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, warming shelves, microwave, zip, kettle etc. They recommend outside catering for larger events.

It just recently had a fresh coat of paint, as it used to be a red faded terracotta colour now it is a bright teal green.

• Hourly rate: $25 per hour
• Bond $300 (refundable and if required) + cleaning fee (if required)
  For longer hire periods, the base rate is $300 per day plus bond (if required) and cleaning fee (if required)
• Cleaning fees:
  $70 Monday-Saturday
  $80 Sundays

Yearly Membership Fees

• The subscription is a contribution or koha: A minimum of $15 per person per year.
