Oneroa Main Carpark

Overview

Oneroa Main Carpark or Oneroa Back Carpark is what most locals call it as it is located behind the main road shops. The Carpark is split up into two main carparks, one you access on 2 Oue Road, this is the newer one and one you access on 1 Weka Road or 4 Oue Road by the fire station, they are both almost connected so for the rest of this post I will just consider it one big L shaped carpark.

The carpark consists of about 90 parks that are marked. This car park is normally pretty busy as you can see from the photos.

The carpark is 4 hour parking with some locations being 8 hour parking.

The parking lot is 24/7 hours, but if you are outside of 8am-6pm you can park overnight, inside those hours you can only park the listed times.

This is the best place to get a park in Oneroa without having to try parallel park on the main road. There is normally a few parks available in this parking lot.

Note: Be careful when accessing from the 1 Weka Road. Up this section of the carpark many parks are business only parking mixed in with the public parking. There are signs so you can tell them apart.

Access

The best way to access this parking lot would be coming from turning onto Oue Road at the top roundabout and just turning in 50m down the road.

Truck and boat parking not really available at this parking lot, but you might find some smaller trucks parked in here. It would probably be best to try find a long park on the main road or park on a side street.
