Kennedy Point Pier
Kennedy point pier is located near the Sealink ferry terminal, it is a manmade rock walled pier with a flat concrete path, you can fish on either side of the pier or at the end
Esplanade Fishing
The Esplanade fishing spot is located on the gravel road called The Esplanade, it has easy access and parking, you could actually fish out of your car if you wanted too.
Pacific Parade
Pacific Parade is located in Surfdale Waiheke, but it starts in Oneroa and pretty much ends in Palm Beach. So is spans the full length of Surfdale.
Coromandel Road
It has low to medium amount of traffic depending on the time of day, it has some parking on the sides, but as the road curves down a ridge line.
Fisherman’s Rock
Fisherman’s Rock is a well known spot on Waiheke for fishing, it is a rocky terrain that has a small path and many steps leading down to it from Newton road Oneroa.

The gannet is a large slender-bodied seabird with mainly white plumage, buff-yellow head and neck, usually occassionally seen around waiheke searching for food in ocean depths.

Pūkeko
The Pukeko is a large relatively compact rail with a deep blue-violet head, breast and throat and a red bill, found in swamp/Mangrove areas of Waiheke Island.
Marine View Road
Marine View Road is located in Onetangi Waiheke, It is a pretty quiet street, with some big grass berms. Would be a relatively safe street for pets and kids due to low traffic.

The Kaka is a large, olive-brown parrot with grey-white crown, red-orange underwing and deep crimson belly, located in tree covered areas around Palm beach and Onetangi.
Common Myna
Mynas are stocky brown birds with a shiny black head and shoulders. Commonly found on road sides on Waiheke, usually playing chicken with cars while foraging for food.
White Fronted Tern
The white-fronted tern is a medium-sized, long-tailed sea tern commonly around New Zealand coasts. Spotted congregating on Waiheke wharfs such as Matiatia and Orapiu.
