Mataira Gallery has taken over from Gallery Anomalous is the same building and spot in 2025, with the art work being from Rachel Mataira, From the looks of it most of the work is photos in colour or black a white and you buy a print of that photo in a set size.
Prices Range From $220-3000 depending on size, image and frame.
In the 1950’s the building used to be a butcher and has been many other businesses since such as a Jewellery store, Gallery Anomalous and now Mataira Gallery
Update 2025
Mataira Gallery now has a portable ramp for wheelchair access. Have also added phone number for the business.
Unsure if Gallery closed in late 2025 as the building seems empty ( A new gallery has opened called Lume, we will make a new listing)
