Doubleshot Espresso Bar

Overview

Doubleshot Espresso Bar is one of the most popular places on Waiheke for coffee, they have a full range of all the types of coffee. Prices range from about $3.50 to $7 depending on the type of drink and size.

Doubleshot and Hotshot are sister businesses. So you don’t have to travel far to get a delicious coffee. It is managed/owned by Justin Fonseca who also owns Nippy Bites and Hotshot Espresso.

They also serve a range of snacks with the coffee, this can be cookies, slices, croissants etc. Doubleshot also have a few tables to sit at while you are waiting, these tables normally have a few magazines and newspapers kicking around so you are not bored while you wait. 

in addition the bar has a range of toasted sandwiches, fresh fruit smoothies and milkshakes/ coffee shakes.

Booking a coffee ahead of time is welcome, just text the number above and they will make the order for you. They are too busy to receive calls so its best to text and they will get back you as soon as they can.

2025 update

By talking to a staff member we have learnt Doubleshot Espresso hours have slightly increased due to the busy influx of last year, we have also learnt they do toasted sandwiches, fruit smoothies etc and have amended our post.
