Overview
Doubleshot Espresso Bar is one of the most popular places on Waiheke for coffee, they have a full range of all the types of coffee. With prices ranging from about $3.50 to $7 depending on the type of drink and size.
Doubleshot and Hotshot in Ostend are sister businesses. So you don’t have to travel far to get a delicious coffee. It is managed/owned by Justin Fonseca who also owns Nippy bites and Hotshot Espresso (which is located in Ostend)
They also serve a range of snacks with the coffee, this can be cookies, slices, croissants etc. Doubleshot also have a few tables to sit at while you are waiting, these tables normally have a few magazines and newspapers kicking around so you are not bored while you wait.
Double shot also offers a range of toasted sandwiches, fresh fruit smoothies and milkshakes/ coffee shakes.
They also allow you to book coffee ahead of time to save time waiting, just text the number above and they will make the order for you. They are too busy to receive calls so its best to text and they will get back you as soon as they can.
There is no toilet available, but a public one is available across the road and just up past the Citizens Advice Bureau.
2025 update
By talking to a staff member we have learnt Doubleshot Espresso hours have slightly increased due to the busy influx of last year, we have also learnt they do toasted sandwiches, fruit smoothies etc and have amended our post.

The best way to access Doubleshot Expresso, would be to park in the back Oneroa carpark, then just pop out onto the main footpath to the shop.

The Island Grocer – They have a wide range of fruits, vegetables, meats and other food needs. They have a big selection of organic and gluten free options.
Studio Ten81 – A recent addition to Waiheke’s Oneroa Village which has only just opened its doors in August 2024, It is a fine art gallery run by a father-and-son team.
WE-AR Waiheke – A high end clothing and yoga shop, with many varieties of clothing, this is from pants, tops, leggings, tank tops, organic bras, dresses, jumpsuits and more.
Oneroa Beach – Also known as Big Oneroa, is one of the main beaches in Oneroa, it is situated walking distance from Oneroa village which is where you will find plenty of shops.
