The Forge Gym

Overview

The Forge is a shipping container style outdoor gym/fitness centre located in Oneroa. They offer a range of fitness classes, personal training and open gym sessions.

The Forge is located right next to Tots On The Rock.

They offer a mixture of gym sessions covering true strength, combat conditioning, mobility flow and boxing.

Fitness classes are small classes of 6 students per coach. They cover a range of strength, conditioning, skill and mobility – all designed for you to build unmatched fitness, physique and movement.

If you would like to work with one of their coaches one-on-one they offer personal training sessions throughout the day, so you can choose a session time that suits your lifestyle.

Whether you’re a seasoned athlete, a fitness enthusiast, or just starting your fitness routine, their open gym offers you the freedom to pursue your individual goals in a supportive and well-equipped environment.

They welcome casual bookings for any of their classes or sessions and offer a range of cost effective packages to suit everyone.

2025 Update

I walked past the Gym and most things looked to be the same, they might have a few extra punching bags and some equipment. But as far as classes and costs it seems similar to 2024.

They also offer a self defense course that allows you to learn how to escape from and disable an attacker.

Gym Costs

FITNESS CLASSES

• $25 per class casual, or $20 per class with a 5 class pass.

PERSONAL TRAINING

• $50 per 30 min session, or $40 per session with a 5 session PT pass.

OPEN TRAINING SESSIONS

• $20 per session, or free with any active Class or PT pass.

Access Information

The best way to access The Forge would be from the Oneroa Carpark, there sometimes is parking on the roadside next to the shop, but it’s uncommon.
