Waiheke specialty food is a deli and store located in Ostend, they sell a range of hard to find international foods such as cheeses, meats and fresh seafood.
You will find waiheke specialty food located on the main road of Belgium street.
Proud business owners are Keith and Suzanne, waiheke specialty food was originally situated on the corner of Erua road/poto road. Until in 2021 they decided to move to Belgium street.
Their wide range of food offers everything from specialty cheese and meat from France, Spain and Italy plus hard to find and interesting food. They have Te Matuku Oysters & NZ Fresh Fish available daily in store.
They source products which cannot be found easily on the Island. For customers with food intolerance’s, vegans and vegetarians they make sure everyone is catered for in the shop.
They also create gourmet gift baskets and hampers to suit any occasion, cheese tower layer cakes, grazing platters and prepared meals to take the stress away from cooking dinner.
Update 2025
As of July 2025 Waiheke specialty foods made the announcement that they will be closing their doors permanently on July 31st. They closed their doors but still are doing online orders.
