Waiheke Baptist Church

Overview

Waiheke Island Baptist Church is located in Ostend. They are a small community church and the only Baptist church on the island.

They’re a campus of the Windsor Park Baptist Church, and part of the Baptist Churches of New Zealand.

They are a group of people of all ages and stages of life, journeying alongside one-another through the highs and lows, encouraging each other in their faith journeys, growing together, and having fun along the way!

They are led by Pastor Roi Nu Maran originally from Myanmar, she is Kachin and came to New Zealand as a refugee in 2008. Roi Nu graduated from the Pastoral Leadership Training programme at Carey Baptist College and is completing a Postgraduate Diploma of Applied Theology.
