Onetangi Mountain Bike Trails are the main riding trails on Waiheke with some smaller trails and jumps at the skatepark. The Onetangi sports park features about 9 trails, that have different levels of difficulty. Some of the trails are pretty flat and good for family rides. But some of the more advanced with obstacles and tight bends and steep downhill sections.
From the looks of it all the trails are shared with horses and runners/walkers, back a few years ago there were some trails only bikes were allowed on, will have to look into the finer details of the advanced tracks and see if this is the case. What I could find for certain is that no motorbikes are allowed and you have to follow the path from a set direction for safety reasons.
We have not personal ridden on the trails in a few years so will have to head out and update with some more what to expect on the trail photos.
