eRide Waiheke

Overview

eRide Waiheke is a e-bike rental company, located at the Matiatia Ferry Terminal. They offer e-bike tours and self guided tours. Costs vary dependant on hires and tours.

At eRide they hold dozens of electric bikes, every premium e-bike comes with a helmet, lock, phone holder, and pannier bag.

Hire prices range from $120 – $1000 dependant on if you are doing a self guided tour or a guided tour. You can also pay $10 extra per day for up to $500 insurance cover.

eRide Waiheke was founded in 2019 by cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts Mark and Katya. eRide operates as a family-run business. They are passionate locals that know all about the island’s charm and eager to share its beauty with visitors.

They have extensive knowledge of the island, including its wineries, beaches, shops, cafes, restaurants, scenic bike tracks, and well-guarded local secrets.
