Shelley Beach Reserve

Overview

Shelley Beach Reserve is located down the middle of Shelly Beach Road. It has a publicly accessible fruit garden called Orchard Bee Gardens featuring pears, apples, bananas and more.

I have done some research into the naming. As the beach is called Shelly Beach and the road is Shelly Beach Road. But the reserve is called Shelley Beach Reserve. The claim is the added ‘E’ was just a error on a database. I was under the impression it might of been a persons name.

Public toilets, BBQ and a pontoon are located at the reserve.

Parking is located on the small grass lawn or on the side of the gravel road down to the beach.

Wheelchair Access

Yes, most of the reserve is wheelchair accessible or has some accessibility. On dry days the grass should be firm. But on wet day the grass could be to squishy or muddy.

Public Toilet

Yes, Shelley Beach Reserve has a public toilet. Note its not a flush toilet, it is a composting toilet. So it can be reeky, more so on hot days.
