Overview
Pohutukawa Bay is a small bay located in Orapiu near the wharf. Above the bay is a 4WD only cliffside road also known as Hunterville Road. The bay allows boat access but no parking.
The beach is made of shell and rocks surrounded by rocky cliffsides, large pohutukawa trees and Orapiu wharf pier.
There is a public toilet near by and some parking on Anzac Road.
Via the rocks during low tide you can get to the other secluded bays.
