Ostend War Memorial Hall
Ostend War Memorial hall, was built in the late 1940s, it was built by the waiheke community, volunteers and donations. It is a remembrance hall for our fallen soldiers.
Halls
Waiheke has a community hall located in most suburbs of the island. Some of them are community managed and some are council managed. Many can be rented out for events, functions and parties.
Omiha Memorial Hall
The Omiha Memorial Hall was originally built by the Omiha Welfare and Recreation Society in or around the 1950’s. You can hire the hall for functions and events.
Onetangi Community Hall
The Onetangi Community Hall is located near Onetangi beach. It is perfect for conferences, social groups, band rehearsals, staged performances, birthday parties and weddings.
Morra Hall
Morra Hall is a community hall located at the top of Oneroa. They host a number of events, this ranges from Sunday markets to table tennis.
Old Blackpool School
Old Blackpool School Hall and park has many aspects, we will cover most of them. It is a community building that has a good park for walking dogs.
Palm Beach Hall
Palm beach hall is a charming little hall that has many special occasions celebrated through its doors such as Weddings, Children’s birthday parties, and more
