Overview
Woodside Bay is a quiet little bay located in the Whakanewha region. It is a little bit of a drive but can be perfect for a quiet picnic away from all the busy Waiheke life.
Woodside Bay is located off a unpaved road called Woodside Bay Road. At the bay is a picnic table, parking on the grass berm and a defibrillator.
Woodside Bay is wrapped around by farm land and a few houses.
This bay screams peace. It’s so quiet all you hear are waves crashing, sea birds and the occasional horse.
Please make sure to take all your rubbish as there are no bins provided.
No camping is available at Woodside Bay but there is plenty available at the Whakanewha Regional Park (Dock Camp)
