Overview
Pet connect vet is a in-home veterinary care service, they do vaccinations, euthanasia, and general consults in the comfort of your own home.
Vets and pet lovers are Gemma and Molly.
Gemma graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Prior to this she completed a PhD in genetics and biochemistry at Massey University in Palmerston North. Gemma delivers in-home veterinary care on Waiheke. Currently these services include, vaccinations, euthanasia, and general consults in the comfort of your own home which provides stress-free, safe and comfortable veterinary care for you and your pets.
Molly graduated from Massey University with a bachelor of veterinary science in 2021. Molly is available to see patients at Pet Connect on Monday and Tuesday mornings.
Update 2025
Looking at their website they now offer online bookings for non-urgent consultations, in-store at Pet Connect, and for dogs only.

They also have a few new products and service upgrades such as
- Blood test machine to run inhouse blood tests with instant results.
- Thermochips- An integrated temperature biosensor
- Providing a limited number of surgical procedures under sedation and general anaesthetic.

Services offered
- Vaccinations : Feline $105-$115, Canine $95-$175
- In-home euthanasia: From $385
- Consultations: ($97.50; additional pets $87.50 each)
The below services are offered with consultations or vaccinations:
- Nail Clips: $42.50
- Anal glands: $42.50
- Parasite prevention
An additional $25 will be charged for visits past Onetangi.
Access Information
The best access to Pet Connect Vet is parking outside their shop if you can get a park, if not there is plenty of parking at the underground Woolworths parking lot. Pet Connect is located at the front of the shopping complex or give Gemma a text and she can come to your house.
