Waiheke RSA

Overview

Waiheke RSA is a well known restaurant and bar on Waiheke Island. It features the “Red Poppy” restaurant, darts, snooker, and TAB. It’s famous for its quiz nights, karaoke, and meat raffles. Their restaurant named the “Red Poppy” symbolizes fallen veterans, the RSA gives plenty of money back in support and donations.

On a regular week they host a bunch of interactive activities/events such as quiz nights, music nights, cards, meat raffles and indoor bowls.

Enjoy dinner and a few drinks while watching the sports games on their projector screen or 50 inch LED screens.

They offer a low price membership, that allows you to get discounts. This is available for everyone over 18 and helps support a good cause.

Note: you can still eat and enjoy the RSA without a membership.

From the looks of it the War Memorial Hall is a branch off the RSA, but will do a separate post with more details.

The RSA grounds is also home to the Waiheke Saturday Markets. I will do a separate post with more details.

Wai Kitchen

Bisou Cafe brings a taste of Europe to Waiheke Island, serving up savoury and sweet crepes, freshly baked baguettes and pastries alongside Eighthirty coffee and fresh juices.

The Ocean View

The Ocean View is a cafe/Restaurant in the middle of Oneroa, they serve a range of fresh breakfasts, lunches and Dinner. With a full range of Spirits.
