Overview

The local is a fresh gourmet seafood restaurant located in the middle of Oneroa village. Overlooking our beautiful Oneroa Beach, they offer feel good food such as NZ’s favourite summer dish beer battered fish and chips , gourmet burgers and more.

You can find the local next to the four square down a few steps in a small alley way.

During summer months enjoy a fun filled evening, watching the sunset listening to live music playing.

The local is a perfect place to hold private functions or just have a drink with some friends/family.
