Mama’s Kitchen Vietnamese is brand new cafe/food cart on Waiheke located in Oneroa. They have a range of Vietnamese food options. They are located down from Pop Scooter Hire, possibly on the same section, but I don’t think they are affiliated with each other.
Mama’s Kitchen Vietnamese are family members of Rose from Rose Beauty Spa (Local nail salon).
They offer many varieties of Vietnamese dishes from Banh mi’s, Bun tron and Pho which are cooked on site and ready to collect.
Yheke team were one of the first 5 customers to this business. They opened on the 15 September 2025. So not only do we list all the business information, we get down on the ground floor and try these places.
The cart looked pretty busy when we were waiting for our food. This might of been due to opening rush on a new business. But its good to see lots of local support.
One of the management team told me, that they have lots of family here helping with the opening of the shop.
2025 Update
Have added menu and food to the listing.
Update Two: They now have a website that you can book meals and drinks on, it also has the shop hours so you can only book during the operating hours.

- Goi Cuon – Rice paper roll with noodles, pickled carrots, mix of lettuce, cucumber and a few meat/tofu options to select from.
- Banh Mi – Vietnamese baguette with pate, pickled carrot cucumber, coriander and a few meat/tofu options to select from.
- Bun Cha ha Noi – Rice noodles with grilled pork belly, meatballs, spring roll, pickled carrot mix and dipping sauce.
- Bun Tron – Rice noodle, pickled carrot mix salad, crispy shallots, roasted peanuts, fried onion.
- Com Tam – Rice pickled carrot, cucumber mix salad, dipping Sause and a selection of meat.

The best way to access Mama’s kitchen Vietnamese, would be Oneroa main parking lot or on the side of the road parking close to the cart.
Wheelchair access possible and easy I would say as the shop has no big steps to gain access.
