Overview
Onetangi Rugby Field is the main Rugby Field of Waiheke, it is the official size and pretty flat, with big grass berms for sitting on and watching the games. Even if the field has some small discrepancies teams change sides at half time to make it fair.
The players have access to toilets, changing rooms, showers, training equipment, drinking fountains and a big parking lot. All of the needed amenities to host and play top quality games. The field can get quite windy some days or soaked in rain, as its a outdoor field.
The main pavilion has access to other amenities such as a BBQ and power. So there is the possibility to set up for events and cook for the teams.

Access Information
Pretty much the only way to access Onetangi Rugby Field is through the main gate entry on Obrien Road, It would almost be 500m from Obrien Road to the Rugby Field, so be aware if you are going to walk. If you are in a car/truck/bike, this only takes 30 sec or so.
The speed limit on the road to the Sports Park is 30kmph, also be careful of roosters and ducks on the road.
