Wai Kai Kitchen is a new addition to Putiki Road in Ostend. Serving takeaway meals such as smoked BBQ roast dinners, gourmet rolls and Asian fusion street food.

Wai Kai kitchen officially opened its doors in November 2025 and is located next to The 3 Fishes.

There is a wide range of dishes and drinks to choose from. Follow their Instagram to get the inside scoop on specials or grab local loyalty deals every Thursday and Friday.

Proud owner is a local private chef named Deb also known as “Chef Deb”. Many locals may know her from Soho Asian street food truck, or her catering business that was previously located on Erua road. She has served Waiheke through her boutique catering company since 2008 and has over 18 years experience.
