Overview
The Chop House is a unique cafe that is a butchery and cafe in one. Choose your meat from their selection and they will cook it on the spot, it doesn’t get fresher then that.
Chop House cafe opened its doors in October 2025. Located on Tahi Road in amongst the Waiheke Car Wash.
At Chop House they offer a selection on handmade pies, sausage rolls, burgers, sandwiches and more. They have a covered seating area outside and a small seating area inside.
You can decide on getting Babickas signature dishes or choose fresh cuts of meat to take home and cook for yourselves.
Proud owner is Lucie, for many years she has served locals at the Saturday Market in her stall called Babickas Table. She has also served at the local RSA and sells her meats at local Waiheke food grocers. Chop House is her new accomplishment and her next adventure.
During the Saturdays Babickas Table stall will still be located at the market for everyone to get their meat fix.

We have been in contact with owner Lucie. Have updated a few photos, business hours and they have a customer toilet available.
Chop House has a indoor seating area available to the right of the main ordering station.
