Overview
Obee’s also known as Oceans best, says it all! Is a Restaurant/Cafe located in Oneroa. They serve fresh seafood such as crayfish and have a food truck outside that has easy to grab meals.
In July 2025, they rebranded from Nomads to Obee’s.
Obee’s is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast, brunch or lunch with friends and family. The menu features a variety of dishes made with fresh, local ingredients, including seafood, meat, and vegetarian/vegan options.
Obee’s also has a full bar, so you can enjoy a drink while you take in the beautiful views of Oneroa.
If your just wanting to have a quick bite to eat they also have a chrome food truck outside with seating serving burgers, mussels fritters and fish and chips.
2025 Update
Went up to Nomads to see what was going on, would be 99.9% sure they are just rebranding to Obee’s, all the signage and menu has changed. They might still offer things off the nomads menu but I am not sure. We will have lunch up there in the next few weeks to get all the information.
Obee’s is now open for dinners on Fridays and Saturdays till 9pm. (This might just be a summer thing but will keep an eye on it.)
Also the Streetside food truck is also available for pickups.

The best way to access Obee’s is either roadside or Oneroa main parking. If the parking lot is full there is parking on a side street. Longer vehicles would be best to park on a side street as the mentioned parking lots don’t have long parking spots.
Wheelchair access possible and moderately easy I would say as the shop has no big steps to gain access it is located on gravel though.
