Poderi Crisci is a family owned restaurant/winery. Located on a country lane of Waiheke offering delicious classic Italian cuisine and wines to match.
The restaurant and surroundings are ideally suited for a casual lunch, family gatherings or celebrations, weddings and romantic dinners.
Poderi Crisci is a 7.7 hectare vineyard located at the end of a country lane.
Proud owner Antonio was born and raised in Napoli. Arriving in NZ in the early ’90s quickly making a name for himself in the Auckland scene with the establishment of Toto restaurant in Nelson Street. With his partner Vivienne they opened Non Solo Pizza in 1996.
Poderi Crisci was founded in 2008 and the first merlot vines were planted in the year 2000, in 2010 the restaurant opened.
Their wines are produced in French oak barriques over an 18 month period in their underground cellar. All the fruit used for Poderi Crisci wines is estate grown and selectively hand harvested.
At Poderi they believe in garden to plate they grow and use their own seasonal vegetables and herbs in the restaurant for all guests to enjoy.
Enjoy al Fresco dining all year round or their a la carte menu changes daily as they take advantage of the kitchen garden and the freshest ingredients available on the day.
