Overview
Tantalus is a family-owned, premium vineyard and restaurant. The award-winning estate is an iconic location for world-class cuisine, wine tasting, craft beer, weddings, events and special occasions.
The Aitken Family founded the Tantalus in 2013 and established it in 2016.
Tantalus Estate is a destination for travellers and locals. Diners in the main restaurant enjoy an expansive, light-filled venue fabricated from natural materials. Their is a choice of different menu choices for lunch such as A la carte or you can be a little daring and choose their Trust the Chef Lunch a six course set menu meal.
Dinners on Friday and Saturdays are only their Trust the chef dinner degustation. Enjoy a leisurely five-course dining experience, or, if time is limited, you may select the three-course option. (Summer only I believe)
They have a variety of dining areas to choose from relax and enjoy spacious botanical courtyards, comfortable lounge areas, a bright, expansive tasting room and an elegant restaurant and function room. Hidden from the central dining area lies an intimate private dining room and wine library.
