Overview

Onetangi Takeaways is the main Fish & Chip shop in Onetangi. Going through the menu I was surprised at all the different food options. Food such as Prawn Twisters and Melts. The melt is your choice of filling on a Turkish flatbread, then grilled on a press. This allows the mozzarella to melt into the filling and sauce.

They also do a range of fresh fish and chip types. You have the standard scoop of potato chips or wedges. The other options are kumara chips for a higher cost. When it comes to fish they have Hoki or a range of other fish varieties that is worked out per 100 grams and subject to availability, this is due to getting fresh fish.

You can purchase fresh fish fillets for yourself to cook at home.
